We are now offering "Green Mesquite Wood Kits" for the Texas Classic® and the Texas Heritage rocking chairs. Robert will personally mill and select the right Mesquite for every part of the chair kits. All boards will be labeled and cut close to the actual parts where possible because properly sized lumber can be hard to find. Where possible, pieces will be left oversize so that you may use your templates (supplied to students of our Seminars) and select how you want to cut the pattern. Robert will also provide a new piece, free of charge should any of the Mesquite not be suitable for your use. The price for this green mesquite lumber kit is $745.00, freight not included. When you order, the wood will be cut and shipped via UPS or common carrier freight truck. I suggest storing the Mesquite in your shop for a few months to let it stabilize to it's new surroundings. If you have access to a kiln, that would be even better. In our custom work we prefer using lumber dried to 7% - 10% moisture.
