On the average, the majority of my rocking chair clients travel to Uvalde to pick
up their chairs. I find that they enjoy the trip, and enjoy seeing where and how their chair was made. Of
course having a pickup or suburban type vehicle is a necessity, as the rockers are large.
If a rocker is to be shipped out of state, I must build a special crate for it.
I say special because every rocker is different and no two would fit in the same crate. My crating charge
is $150.00, and the crate is shipped freight collect via common carrier. Shipping costs can vary from $50.00
to over $200.00, depending of course on the distance
