Custom Knives by Robert Hensarling
Custom Knife Artisan
This is a knife I made for my wife. It’s based on the Scagel style of knife, yet doesn’t hold a candle to a Scagel knife. The knife is rather small, to fit my wife’s hand. It’s used as a paring knife for veggies. the unique knife holder was a invention of mine, as was the way the sheath was made using a textured cloth on a leather sheath. (Note: I’m sure this process has been done far longer ago than my knife and sheath you see here.
This is picture of a actual knife made by Mr. William Scagel. This knife isn’t mine as it belongs to a friend of mine that’s been a great inspiration to my work. I am including it on this page as it stands out so much better than my knives!
